Originating in Scandinavia, this awesome target sport has been enjoyed for centuries and is the perfect way to show off your inner Viking! Suitable for complete beginners and seasoned pros alike, your session will begin with a full safety briefing from our qualified instructors. After a few practice throws, it’s then time to put your new-found skills to the test and immerse yourself in some competitive fun! All the equipment you need to participate is included in the package cost.

My husband and two sons enjoyed a fun session of axe throwing. They loved their first experience and the competitive aspect of it. The instructor they had made their whole experience that much better, he was fully engaged and made everyone feel happy and confident with their axes. A great activity that they want to do again!

From Junction 31 on the M5, take the A30 towards Okehampton, after 1 mile take the first exit off the dual carriageway, which is signposted Alphington Junction, Exeter & Crediton, A377. Under the dual carriageway take the third exit off the roundabout and continue towards the city centre. Continue along Alphington Road, past the swimming pool to Exe Bridges roundabout (over the river Exe). Take the third exit off Exe Bridges onto Bonhay Road, which will be signposted Tiverton and Crediton. Continue along to Exeter St David’s Railway Station, at the double mini roundabout bear left and continue, you will come to a T-junction with Cowley Bridge Road, you have to merge left and continue to a mini roundabout at Cowley Bridge, Here take the second exit (which is straight over) on Stoke Road the A396 towards Tiverton. Drive for 1.5 miles and turn right when you see the signs for Skirmish. Continue up the hill on Pennsylvania Road, we are on the left hand side through the brown gates.
